My own little art collection:) part 1:
So I started a little art collection and I realized that without knowing I picked paintings made by illustrators like myself.

-The first discovery below was made by Josep Santiañez i Oliver (in 1951)

-and the second one was painted by Rafael Alemany i Cremades (in 1940),

who was considered world's most valued medical illustrator in the 1940s-1950s, Doctor of the university of Philadelphia. More information (in french)

Hah, they decorated the new office of Eli Gold in the third season of the CBS series The Good Wife with my beloved Royal Copenhagen vase, designed by Nils Thorsson.

Another great find I am pretty proud of: The catalogue of El Indio, Barcelona, spring/summer fashion of 1935. The spanish blog REVISION INTERIOR shows how this department store looks the same after all these decades.

I found this fantastic portfolio filled with 30 prints of pencil drawings. They are Art Decó interiors from Vienna, my guess is early 1930s, all signed LD.

I appreciate any help with my research here:) Who was LD? Was it an artist of the "Wiener Werkstätte"? The folder states "Moderne Wiener Möbel" on a sticker of an art book store in Barcelona of that period.
